Congratulations to the 2011 Elite Jr. Warriors on winning the Rochester Border Battle this past weekend.  

The 2011’s started their weekend out strong with two wins on Friday.  They beat the Mid Fairfield Jr. Rangers 6-2 and then beat the Westchester Express 7-4. On Saturday, it was the same story on a different day. The Jr. Warriors earned two more wins with a shutout over the Amherst Knights 6-0 and a 5-1 win over the New Jersey Rockets. After a strong 4-0 effort in round-robin play, the Warriors earned their trip to the championship game on Sunday.  

The Valley Jr. Warriors would take on the Amherst Knights in the finals. The Jr. Warriors cruised to a 5-1 win and the championship! 

The 2011’s finished the weekend 5-0 outscoring opponents 26-8. They will resume the Elite 9 season this weekend when they take on the Boston Jr. Bruins on Saturday, November 18 at 5:50 PM in Lawrence.
