For the 2020-21 season, the Valley Jr. Warriors will be offering full season teams at the U10, U12 & U14 levels, as well as a Fall training program for prep school players U16-U19. The U10 – U14 teams will be playing and training out of Lawrence Valley Forum and the Chelmsford Forum. The Warrior teams led by renowned Girls Hockey Director, Seth Goodrich, are members of the Elite 9 Girls Hockey League.
The members of Elite 9 are afforded the unique opportunity to also play against co-ed teams in the Valley Hockey League in addition to their E9 girls schedules. The Warriors U10 & U12 teams will be competing in both the E9 & VHL for the 2020-21 season. The E9 offers elite hockey players the opportunity to train with premier coaches and instructors while competing against the very best players in New England. The core founding members of the E9 have been pioneers in player development for boy’s hockey in New England over the past 15 years and have developed more NCAA D1 & D3 players than any other program in New England. That trend will continue in the girl’s spectrum as these organizations establish the E9 as the premier league for player development across all levels of hockey.
The Valley Hockey will be a key component of the Valley Jr. Warrior Girls training and competitive development. A large majority of NCAA DI girl commits from Massachusetts over the last 4-5 years have honed their skills and developed into an elite player, by competing at the U10 and U12 levels against the top boys teams in the VHL. This opportunity to compete in the VHL is only available to a select few girl programs in New England, including the Jr. Warriors and Boston Americans.
