The Valley Jr. Warriors are proud to recognize 2012 Select goaltender, Ben Garcia, who is currently participating in the October Saves Goalie Challenge. This is Ben's first year raising money through October Saves and he is participating in honor of his Nana who is a cancer survivor. 

For a decade the October Saves program has been supporting cancer research and patient care services. October Saves calls on ice hockey goalies — youth, amateur and professional— anywhere and everywhere to raise money and awareness through gathering donations for saves they make during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The beneficiaries include The Dana Farber Cancer Institute, The Inova Schar Cancer Institute, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and many more!
