U18 PREP

Ashton Rome

Ashton Rome, originally selected by the Boston Bruins in the fourth round of the 2004 NHL Draft, and then again by the San Jose Sharks with the 143rd overall pick in 2006, had a professional career lasting twelve seasons. Rome has played in 294 AHL games for Worcester, Toronto, Hershey, and Portland totaling 40 goals, 38 assists, and 245 penalty minutes. Rome was a member of the 2010 Hershey Bears Calder Cup championship team, where he recorded five points in 16 playoff games. He 

has also suited up in 173 ECHL games for Phoenix, Idaho, Greenville, and Manchester scoring 71 goals, 60 assists, and 426 penalty minutes. In his Junior years he played 270 games in WHL for the Moose Jaw Warriors, Red Deer Rebels, and the Kamloops Blazers. 

The 31-year-old native of Nesbitt, Manitoba has also spent parts of five seasons in the DEL with Dusseldorfer, Schwenninger, and Iserlohn, totaling 158 games played, 58 goals, 49 assists and 337 penalty minutes.  In recent years, he returned to the ECHL in 2016 with the Manchester Monarchs, where he led the team in goals during their playoff run that season.

Rome returned to Worcester in the 2017 season and was named the first team captain in Worcester Railers history. Rome suited up for the Railers half of the 2017-18 season, accumulating 16 points in 30 games. Rome would go on later that season to play 11 games for the Monarchs in the regular season, scoring 4 points. He then played in an additional six games in playoffs before announcing his retirement.  

He currently serves as the Head of Coaches for Methuen Youth Hockey. Ashton also coaches for ProAmbitions, the largest youth hockey development camp in The Nation, while working as a Full-time Firefighter in Salem, NH. He resides in Methuen with his wife, daughter, and two sons.

Colin McDonald

Colin grew up in Milford NJ and played four season for the UNH Wildcats in HockeyEast, and was named captain his senior seasons. After fighting through a couple career-threatening injuries during college Colin played professional in the ECHL with Florida Everblades and Indy Fuel. McDonald currently resides in South Boston and works for Eli Lilly Pharmaceutical.

Andrew Andricopoulos

Andrew grew up in Groveland, MA before attending Tabor Academy. At 16, he moved to Quebec City to play for the Quebec Remparts in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League where he lived with, and played for, NHL Hall of Famer Patrick Roy. Andrew was a member of the 2006 Memorial Cup Championship team and played alongside current NHL stars Marc-Edouard Vlasic and Alexandre Radulov. Andrew holds several defensemen scoring records in Quebec Remparts history. After his QMJHL career, Andrew attended several NHL and AHL camps before playing 60 games in the ECHL in the Washington Capitals and San Jose Sharks systems. Upon completion of his professional career, he returned to play Division 1 hockey in Fredericton, NB for St. Thomas University under the coaching of former NHL player Mike Eagles. Andrew had acted as the U.S. scout for the QMJHL for the past four seasons. Andrew is also entering his 3rd season as Assistant Coach of Men's Varsity Hockey at Brooks School. He resides in Groveland, MA.
