The Valley Jr. Warriors 2010 Select team entered and won the MLK Classic in Hudson NH hosted by the Northern Cyclones.  The Warriors went undefeated throughout the weekend winning all 4 games outscoring their opponents 21 - 5.  The 1st game was against tournament host, Cyclones, where the Warriors won a thrilling 2 -1 game in a shootout fashion.  Next, the Warriors then played the GB Vipers and had a strong offensive showing scoring 9 times while giving up only 2.  The last game of round robin play was against the CT Chiefs where the Warriors came out flying, leading to a 7 - 2 victory.   The team earned the #1 seed and played the CT Chiefs again in the finals and shut them out 3 - 0 to win the tournament.   It was a team effort as all players contributed to the team’s success and was highlighted by great goaltending, solid team defense, and a high-scoring offense. Congrats to the 2010 Select Jr. Warriors!
